What size should I buy?

​

You’ll find Three Sun Possums garments have a loose, relaxed fit.  For keeping cool in the heat and perfect for those unpredictable ‘growth spurts’.  Sleeves can be easily rolled up and down without compromising style.  

 

Pants can be worn rolled up, full length and even become ¾ pants the following summer.  Our sizing is true to age, so the label says “4 year old”, “5 year old”, etc.  We recommend size 4 for a 4 year old, size 5 for a 5 year old, etc.  But if your little possum is on the particularly petite or statuesque end of the spectrum, you might want to consider a different size.  Also, it's worth bearing in mind that young children continue growing, so if you're at all unsure then it's probably best to get a bigger size and if it's too big for them now they will grow into it next summer.  

 

This is often a better option rather than getting something that is a little small, tight and uncomfortable.  If you would like any measurements please contact us letting us know what style and size you’re interested in, and we can email you details to help you decide.  

 

We understand and value that every little body is different, so when you receive your clothing, if it’s not the right fit, you’re welcome to swap it.  Please see our returns policy below.

 

To give an example of sizing, Mr. 4yrs & 8mths was weighed & measured just before the below photos were taken. He's at the 90% percentile for height & 75% percentile for weight for his age, and he's wearing size 4 in these photos. Miss 7yrs & 4 mths is most definitely one of the tallest children, if not the tallest, in her class, and is wearing size 7 in these pics.

Returns

Our goal is for customers to be completely satisfied – and to tell their friends!  If you are not happy with your purchase, for whatever reason, you are welcome to return it, at your postage cost, unworn, in saleable condition with tags still on, for a full refund or a swap with another item.  Please post any returns flat, folded in the way they were posted to you.  Returned items must be received by Three Sun Possums within 25 working days of when they were originally posted by Three Sun Possums, and include a note with your name and what you'd like done (swap or refund).  Once received we will immediately action whatever you wish and email you to confirm. Please contact us for the postal address for returns.

How long will my order take to get to me?

 

Depending on where you live in Australia standard delivery will take 3-12 working days to get to you and ExpressPost will be quicker.  Use www.auspost.com.au to calculate your estimated delivery time.  Orders are shipped from Postcode 5041 in Australia.  Choose your preferred delivery method via the 'Shipping' drop down menu at checkout. If you live outside Australia shipping will take longer and you can still use www.Auspost.com.au to calculate time.  

 

Is shipping tracked?

 

Yes. Three Sun Possums will email you the tracking details.  Check your 'junk' folder if you think you haven't received that email.  Orders are posted via Auspost with their excellent and reliable deliveries, unless you request otherwise, which will incur an additional charge. Please contact us prior to placing an order if you would like a quote for another shipping method.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit and debit cards, along with payment via your Paypal account.  Our legal business name is M.A Cox & M. A Cox, and this is what will appear on your credit card statement, rather than 'Three Sun Possums'.

I'm on the Checkout page and it's asking for a Paypal account, which I don't have/don't want to use.  What do I do?
 

No problem.  Load shopping cart as normal.  When you press Checkout everyone gets directed to the Paypal site, but there’s an option button down the bottom of the page for ‘no Paypal account’.  Click on this button and you’ll be able to proceed without registering with Paypal, using your normal credit or debit card.  Paypal are the people that handle the money side of things for Three Sun Possums!  You don't have to pay using a Paypal though.

Is your clothing UPF rated?

​

Three Sun Possums tops do not carry any specific Ultravoilet Protection Factor (UPF) rating.  We can not guarantee how much ultraviolet light is blocked by our clothing.  We’ve focused on cool, comfortable, gorgeous designs that are going to be enthusiastically chosen for outdoor fun.  Check out section on Sun Protection on the main menu.

 

How should I wash my Three Sun Possums top?
 

Throw it in the washing machine, cold cycle is fine.  Stubborn stains that won’t budge?  Good news - you’ll find the high quality cotton responds well to soaking.  Depending on the style, and your own preference, you probably don’t need to iron it ( I never iron the tops my children wear – you might notice this from some of the photos on the website!).  Because we want you to be outside, having fun with your little people we’ve used quality materials that are easy care.  We’ve even put “don’t handwash” on some of the care labels!

 

All fabric is lightweight, breathable, 100% cotton that has been prewashed, so it’s soft to wear from Day One and won’t shrink.

Are you clothes made in sweatshops?

​

Absolutely not.  We will never be involved in any sweatshop production.  Our fabrics and clothing are high quality, and everyone involved in bringing these beautiful garments to life takes great care and pride in their work.  For fabric printing and garment sewing we work closely with small family-run companies that operate with the highest integrity and concern for the welfare for their employees. This is very important to us. 

 

Help!  The dog has chewed off a button.

Buttons are sewn on very tightly, with high quality thread, so with normal use they should not become loose.  We are proud of the quality of materials and our customers comment on it regularly.  But accidents do happen!  If you need a replacement button please email michelle@threesunpossums.com.au and we’ll be happy to post one to you.

 

I have a PO Box.  Will you send it?

Yes.  Definitely.  Write whatever your address is in the space provided.  Ignore the note on Paypal site about not sending to PO Boxes.  

 

I live somewhere that is not Australia.  Do you deliver?

​

Of course!  We love to send Three Sun Possums internationally.  When you enter your address details the postage charge will reflect your location.  All orders are shipped using local, regular post, unless you request otherwise (which will incur additional charges - please contact us for more info).

What's your privacy policy?  

​

Your email address is retained in our sales system, and only accessed if you order subsequently.  Our system recognises your email address and we can send you a 'welcome back' email.  It's nice to see friends again and it makes us so happy that you've returned!  We want to acknowledge that and thank you for coming back. 

After you order is shipped Three Sun Possums will send you an email, advising tracking details.  The first time you order from us we will also ask in that email if you'd like to be added to our mailing list.  It is an 'opt in' system.  Your name and email address will only be added to our mailing list if you email back your agreement.  We keep your agreement on file.  We generally send out just a few emails to our database per year.  I really hate getting constant emails so like to make sure our customers are treated the same way as I'd like to be treated!
